The big InDesign experiment is now on
Oct. 24th, 2019 10:06 pmI write in Pages. I know there are other tools, but Pages gives me the maximum control with no extra stuff I don’t want, and it’s still smart enough to export well.
BUT... Apple & Adobe are at war over the HTML5/XML implementation (Seriously, we’re back to this crap again) and Adobe’s DRM makes Apple generated ePubs look awful.
Since I have to format the manuscripts anyway... might as well Just Use The Big Iron. InDesign.
I used to use it, about 15 years ago. It’s easier to use now.
I’m going to be playing with how I do that extraneous text (glossary links, maps, etc)... but my brain is now tired.
